We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join a healthcare team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care for critically ill newborns and their families. This role requires expertise in neonatal nursing practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $88/hr with weekly pay

Shift: Nights

Duties of the NICU Nurse:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization, gastric lavage, and critical care transport as needed.
• Educate families on neonatal care, health issues, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols within the NICU.

• Proficient in vital signs monitoring and patient assessment techniques.
• NYS RN License
• Experience with critical care transport of neonates.
• BLS and NRP is required
