United Staffing Solutions is representing a large Fresh Meals production company in Linden, NJ who is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their team.

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for scheduling and planning the work of mechanics, various projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role involves maintaining parts ordering, inventory, mechanical maintenance records, warranties, equipment specifications, and documentation. The Maintenance Planner will ensure compliance with established GMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.

This is a contract position for about 3 months, with the possibility of being extended.

Pay: $26/hr

Schedule: Full Time, day shift, Mon-Fri.

Objectives of this Role:

• Adherence to GMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of the CMMS computer system.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, and purchase requests/order systems.
• Provide technical support for the CMMS system.
• Ensure safety, security, and sanitation of the stockroom.
• Schedule, plan, and forecast maintenance resources, tooling, and inventory.
• Produce and analyze various reports as requested.
• Coordinate work tasks with outside contractors.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders.

• Excellent PC skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including noise and hazards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Working knowledge of automated CMMS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of manufacturing industrial maintenance experience required.
