United Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse / Lumber Yard Manager to oversee daily yard operations for a busy building materials facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping the yard organized, coordinating truck loading, and ensuring orders are accurate and ready for delivery.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can lead by example, maintain organization, and ensure the team operates efficiently and safely each day.

Pay: $24-26/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:30am-4pm (OT as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lumber yard operations to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workflow
• Coordinate and monitor truck loading to ensure deliveries and pickups leave accurately and on schedule
• Verify tickets, orders, and materials before trucks leave the yard (confirm quantities, correct items, and documentation)
• Assign daily tasks and supervise yard staff to maintain productivity and proper coverage
• Monitor attendance and ensure employees are on-site, ready, and on time for scheduled shifts
• Maintain organization of yard inventory and staging areas (materials stored properly, lanes clear, and work areas clean)
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and internal teams regarding load status, delays, or issues
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment

• Prior experience in lumber yard operations, warehouse management, yard supervision, or building materials environments
• Strong attention to detail, especially with ticket verification, order accuracy, and load checks
• Proven ability to supervise and hold staff accountable for attendance and performance
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environment (standing, walking, lifting as needed)
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers and internal teams
• Highly reliable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
