United Staffing Soluitions is representing a local moving company in Stratfod, CT who is looking for reliable Drivers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting household and commercial goods to and from customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Pay: $21-23/hr DOE

Schedule: Full Time, varies based on project

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate moving trucks (box trucks, 16ft–26ft or larger) to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload customer belongings.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and maintenance compliance.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or routing software and adapt to road or weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout the moving process.
• Supervise and assist the moving crew with packing, wrapping, disassembling, and reassembling furniture.
• Handle customer items with care and professionalism to avoid damage or loss.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery logs, inventory sheets, and damage reports.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles or working in moving, delivery, or logistics roles.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 75+ lbs regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of performing tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for operating tools and equipment.
