Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is representing a container modification and maintenance company in Newark, NJ. They are looking to add individuals to their team in their Modification Shop in Newark, NJ and are looking for experienced MIG Welders to join their team. The MIG Welder would help fabricate and complete custom modification projects on steel containers. This is a Full-Time position.
Pay: $25/hr
Full Time: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm plus occasional OT
Responsibilities for Welder:
- Welding and cutting metal to fabricate steel containers
- Use MIG Welding techniques with some TIG and Stick occasionally
- Fabricate and modify materials as needed from design specifications
- Use various tools such as plasma cutter, torch, welder, and other power tools
- Abide by safety procedures and other policies
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience pertaining to MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in welding, metalworking, or related field
- Construction skills such as carpentry, wiring, etc a plus
- Be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Able to lift 50lbs
