CDL – CLASS B DRIVER – CONSTRUCTION

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently seeking an experienced CDL Class B Driver for a well-established construction company. The ideal candidate is reliable and safety-conscious. You will be making trips from Hudson Valley NY to NYC, Long Island, New Jersey and upstate NY and loading and unloading mid-size equipment.

Salary: $28.00-$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits: Health insurance, PTO and holidays.

Days/Hours: M-F from 6am – 2pm or 7am – 3pm. Must be flexible to work early morning shifts and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities for the CDL Class B Driver:

• Operate rack body, box and pick-up trucks
• Pick-up, verify, transport and deliver materials
• Handle mid-size equipment loads
• Load and unload cargo
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Assist the Yard Foreman with labor and support tasks

• Clean driving record with the ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Class B driving experience needed
• Must have a valid, unexpired CDL Class B Driver’s License
• Must assist with yard and warehouse operations when required
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Experience with flatbeds, box trucks or hauling construction materials is a plus
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and active job site environments
• Supporting basic tool repair as needed is a plus
• Ability to lift, move, and secure materials for transport
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to provide 2 employment references
