United Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Porter/Maintenance staff for various residential and commerical buildings in Manhattan and Bronx areas.

Porters will be responsible for doing various tasks depending on building pertaining to trash sorting and removal, cleaning common areas (including bathrooms), and other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Pay: $17-18/hr depending on experience and location.

Schedule: Weekends as needed, On call, shifts may vary but typically 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities of Porter:

• Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of entire facility including hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
• Safe use of manual and powered cleaning equipment and use of chemicals.
• Also responsible for cleaning of floors, elevators, moldings/trim, and windows.
• Remove and dispose of garbage throughout premises on a daily basis.
• Responsible for upkeep of outside including cleanliness of sidewalks, grounds work, and snow removal as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including painting, replace light bulbs, and minor floor/wall repairs.
• Complete record keeping of jobs completed and supply/material inventories.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• At least 1-2 years Porter experience
• Experience working in similar environment
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work full time schedule
