Forklift Operator
Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated Forklift Operators to join our client’s fast-paced manufacturing team. This is for a large ice distribution company out of Mamaroneck, NY. This position is responsible for loading trucks and prepare them to go out on deliveries. They will also be responsible for unloading trucks bringing in incoming shipments and moving product and materials around warehouse as needed.
This would be for a freezer warehouse environment, must be ok working in those conditions.
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm with OT as needed
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience operating Standup Forklifts, certified a plus
- Steel Toe/safey shoes or boots
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, doing loading/unloading
- Familiarity with Food Safety Handling Procedures is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
