Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is representing a food distribution company in Hunts Point, Bronx NY that is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team.
This is a refrigerated warehouse so all candidates must be comfortable working in a cold environment.
This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance and company needs.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 10am-7pm (OT as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within the warehouse
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming shipments
- Follow all safety and food-handling procedures
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals
Job Requirements
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated / cold storage environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
