Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: San Diego, CA 92111
End Date: 12/31/2025
Pay: $42/hour
Employment Type: Seasonal, Temporary (must be available through 12/31/2025)
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time available
Responsibilities:
- Conduct home health visits independently.
- Obtain and document medical histories and patient consent.
- Administer immunizations, medications, and vaccines.
- Perform diagnostic tests and venipuncture as required.
- Monitor patient progress and recognize conditions requiring immediate attention.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and complete forms.
- Conduct equipment checks and report malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain a professional work environment.
Job Requirements
- Active California LVN License.
- Blood Withdrawal Certification and phlebotomy experience.
- Minimum 6 months of LVN experience.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association).
- Valid CA Driver’s License (2+ years) with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Must be comfortable driving to patient homes and working independently.
- Preferred: Patient bedside experience and/or Spanish language skills.
