United Staffing is looking for Laundry Attendants for our client in Far Rockaway, NY. This is for a linen and laundry company that services airlines in the NYC area.

Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm, 5 days a week (weekends included) with OT as needed.

Pay: $18/hr

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and process airline linens and onboard service items.
• Handle blankets, sheets, pillows, headphones, and other airline supplies.
• Load, unload, and transport laundry bags, carts, and boxes.
• Assist with folding, packing, and preparing items for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Push, pull, and lift laundry bags, carts, and boxes.
• Work around industrial laundry equipment and machinery.
• Comfortable working in an environment with noise, heat, humidity, detergents, and cleaning chemicals.
• Handle used airline linens and service items in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, laundry, housekeeping, or production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
