LANGUAGE TEACHERS – PART-TIME

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, language learning program. We are seeking Part-Time French, or Mandarin or Spanish Language Teachers for Pre-K – Kindergarten students in an afterschool program. This position is for 3 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to re-enter the workforce, or college students who have a few free hours or those who simply don’t want to work full time.

Salary - $30-$50 per hour - Depending on experience.

Days/Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm-4pm.

This position will run through January with the possibility of extending.

Responsibilities for the Language Teacher:

· Offer guidance and support to students

· Create a positive atmosphere for children to learn a second language

· Follow lesson plans

· Monitor students’ progress

· Work with families and school staff

· Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Education or related field

· Minimum of 1 year previous experience teaching or tutoring elementary students in an education setting

· Bilingual in Mandarin or French or Spanish required

· Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and positive energy
