13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay
United Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Bronx, NY. This position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs throughout the birthing process
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
- Administer medications and epidurals as ordered
- Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery
- Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in New York State
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (all required)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum experience preferred
- Must be able to work 3 shifts per week, including every other weekend
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
