Weekly Pay: $2,556

Shift: 11.5 x 3 days

Contract Length: 13 weeks, with the option to extend

Start Date: September 16

• Record vital signs and indicia of labor for mother and child during labor and delivery
• Provide support and care from labor through recovery
• Welcome Comprehensive Care Private labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites
• Providing support for the mother during labor
• Care for the patient during antepartum complications, labor, delivery, and recovery
• Evaluate patient care needs including obtaining patient history and assessing for labor risk factors
• Circulating nurse in the OR
• Compile data, track outcomes, and make recommendations for process improvement
• Provide leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to departmental clinicians
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit
• Record vital signs and indicia of labor for mother and child during labor and delivery
• Organize the delivery of comprehensive nursing care
• Prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit
• Provide referrals/support for follow-up care for patients
• Ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Perform or assist physician with performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including genetic diagnostics, ultrasound imaging and select surgical procedures
• Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization

• Perform vaginal delivery procedures (pushing, delivery, recovery)
