Licensed Mental Health Clinicians (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LMSW) – $75-$100/hr | 1099 Contract
Are you a compassionate mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact? A growing private psychotherapy practice is seeking licensed clinicians to provide in-person therapy services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.
Locations: Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, NY
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation:
- LCSW: $100/hour
- LMHC, LMFT, LMSW: $75/hour
Responsibilities for the LCSW / LMHC / LMFT / LMSW :
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and clinical intakes
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs
- Providing individual, family, and couples psychotherapy services
- Delivering evidence-based interventions adapted for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary providers, including behavioral, speech, and occupational specialists
- Educating and supporting families and caregivers throughout treatment
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
- Completing timely clinical documentation, including progress notes within 24 hours of each session
- Preparing clinical reports, letters, and other required documentation
- Maintaining compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and New York State regulations
- Advocating for clients and connecting them with community resources
- Staying current with best practices through ongoing professional development
Job Requirements
- Active NYS license in good standing as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LMSW
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout your assigned borough
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions, or a strong interest in building expertise in this area
- Knowledge of NYS psychotherapy regulations, ethical standards, and clinical documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with community resources and support services
- Current Justice Center Incident Management and Mandated Reporter certifications
