ICU Registered Nurse - Brooklyn - Travel Nursing
United Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a Brooklyn-based hospital. The ideal candidate will be skilled in advanced critical care techniques, including ventilator and tracheostomy management, and able to provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Pay Rate: $2,808/week
Employment Type: Contract / Travel Assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to rapid changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Active NY RN license in good standing.
- Certifications required: TCAR, PALS, BLS, ACLS.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
- Proficiency in ventilator, trach, and CRRT management.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
