United Staffing is looking for Housekeepers for an assisted living nursing facility inUpper Manhattan. In this role, the successful candidate is to maintain a clean sanitary environment for residents and co-workers through general cleaning tasks in residences, offices, hallways and other areas as assigned.

The responsibilities include cleaning residents’ rooms, making their beds, assisting with laundry when needed, and sweeping and mopping certain common areas.

Full Time: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Pay: $17/hr

Job Responsibilities/ Qualifications of the Housekeeper:

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Keeps housekeeping cart clean and chemical bottles labeled.
• Performs housekeeping duties according to procedure.
• Change and wash linens as needed
• Wash dishes along with cleaning kitchen area
• Performs discharge cleaning according to procedure.
• Performs isolation cleaning according to procedure.
• Performs job duties without direct supervision.
• Informs manager of any potential problems or unsafe conditions.
• Performs daily duties in a safe manner keeping patient needs first.
• Notifies the department upon completion of assignments.
• Displays a positive team effort.
• General cleaning of hospital using some materials that may be corrosive flammable or toxic in their concentrated form
• Assist with patients as needed/directed by supervisor.

• Prior experience dealing with the removal and checking of bed bugs preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Housekeeping experience required.
