Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technicians for a hospital in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, including senior care, home care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Pay: $25/hr with weekly pay
Shift: Day
1199 59 day assignment
5 shifts per week, rotating weekends
Duties of the Hospital PCT:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care
- Experience in caring for children and individuals with behavioral health needs is a plus
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or caregiving roles
- Familiarity with providing care to individuals with diverse needs
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and assisting with personal care tasks
- Completion of a training program approved by the Division of Nursing
- HS/GED Required.
- ACLS and BCLS Required.
- Previous experience as a Nurse Aide or PCT is required.
