Job Description
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: White Plains, NY 10601
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $70/hr | Weekly Pay
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and surgical procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Active New York State RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and provide compassionate patient care.
