Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, support residents’ daily needs, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents’ health status and promptly report changes
- Assist residents with daily living activities and promote independence
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Job Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care or similar setting preferred
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
