Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Morristown, NJ. The L&D RN will provide nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns while supporting safe delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor support and nursing care throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status; respond to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections in collaboration with providers
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and epidural monitoring per orders and protocol
• Perform newborn assessments and provide postpartum education and support
• Document care and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in accordance with facility policies

• Active RN license (NJ license required)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NRP required
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
• Strong fetal monitoring and labor management skills
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and provide immunization documentation
