Part-Time Physical Therapist Opportunity – Outpatient Orthopedic Setting

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking licensed Physical Therapist to join a progressive and supportive team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Long Beach, NY.

This is a part-time position with a consistent schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (15 hours/week).

Patient Conditions May Include:

• Arthritis
• Neck pain
• Balance disorders
• Fractures (e.g., ankle)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver care under the Plan of Care established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Apply modalities such as ice or heat packs, and assist with therapeutic exercises
• Monitor and guide patients through prescribed rehab programs
• Document daily notes and patient progress in EMR under the supervision of a PT
• Provide clear instruction on exercises and equipment use
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the work environment

• Active Physical Therapy license in New York State
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with appropriate PT supervision
• Strong interest in outpatient orthopedic care and patient education
