Job Description:
We are currently hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in Fairfax, MO. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain following injury, illness, or surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the PT
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to supervising therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly
Job Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Missouri
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- CPR certification (current)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a clinical team
