Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – Nights

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $2,830 per week

Schedule

• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) for new contracts

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, intervening promptly as needed.
• Manage and titrate critical care medications and drips according to clinical standards.
• Care for patients requiring ventilator, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tube management, as well as arterial line monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and NICU staff.
• Float to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as needed.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation using electronic medical records.

• Active New York RN License (unrestricted).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Proficient in vent/trach/g-tube care, medication titration, and A-line competency.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
