ICU RN – Travel Contract – Bronx, NY

Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Bronx, NY. The ICU RN will provide critical care services to high-acuity patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor ventilated patients, telemetry, and hemodynamic status
• Titrate and manage continuous infusions, including vasoactive drips, per protocol
• Identify subtle changes in patient condition and respond to emergent situations
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other care team members
• Support patients and families with education and communication when appropriate

• Active RN license (NY license required)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with ventilators, titration of drips, and emergency response
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and provide immunization documentation
