Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Bronx, NY 10457
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure efficient day-to-day workflow in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and clinical procedures
- Take vital signs, record patient history, and prepare patients for examinations
- Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Handle patient documentation and update electronic medical records
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are properly stocked and sanitized
- Provide excellent communication and support to patients and their families
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold one of the following certifications: CCMA, CMA, or NCMA
- Active BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
