Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Location: Bronx, NY
- Pay: $3,060 per week
- Shift: Full-time, Travel contract
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health
- Assist with labor induction and delivery procedures
- Administer medications and IVs as prescribed
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare staff
- Maintain detailed medical records
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
- BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
