HEAD OF SCHOOL - HEAD MASTER - PRINCIPAL - SPECIAL ED

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Head of School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting children from 4-13 years old.

This position requires 8-10 years’ experience in a leadership role in an academic environment.

Salary - $175,000 - $250,000 - depending on experience

• This is a 12-month program

Days/Hours – M-F, 8am-4pm

Responsibilities for the Head of School:

• Working knowledge of IEPs
• Supporting children with communication, developmental delays and a variety of other diagnoses
• Direct the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum
• Ensure all IEPs adhere to state and federal regulations
• Manage the school’s annual budget
• Responsible for recruitment of students and staff
• Act as the primary liaison between the school and outside agencies

• Master’s in Education or Special Education required
• Minimum 8-10 years of previous experience in a leadership/managerial role in a public or private school
• Ability to work with parents, faculty and teachers
• Excellent communication skills
• ABA trained highly preferred
• Ability to provide 3 professional references
