United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is representing a Senior Assistance Housing Company that is presently looking for a reliable handyman for various locations in Bronx and Manhattan. The handyman will be responsible for the upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of the company premises. We'll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: Varies depending on location

Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial properties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed
- Repair or replace broken or damaged fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical tasks such as fixing leaks and replacing light bulbs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all necessary tools and supplies are available

- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills

Note: A valid driver's license may be required for certain maintenance person positions.
