United Staffing Solutions is representing a hardware company in Mount Vernon, NY who is looking for Forklift Warehouse Associates to join their team.

This is a tempory position for about 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further.

Pay: $21/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify incoming merchandise for accuracy and quality.
• Sort, organize, and label inventory with proper stock codes.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy with pick tickets.
• Prepare outbound UPS shipments and load trucks efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks to handle materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a warehouse or distribution center environment using a forklift.
• Proficiency with FACTS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and working in varied climates.
