FRENCH LANGUAGE TEACHER – PART-TIME

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, language learning program. We are seeking a Part-Time French Language Teacher for 1st and 2nd grade or 3rd to 5th grade in an afterschool program. This position is for 3 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to re-enter the workforce, or college students who have a few free hours or those who simply don’t want to work full time.

Salary - $30-$50 per hour - Depending on experience.

Days/Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm-4pm.

This position will run through the end of June with the possibility of extending.

Responsibilities for the Language Teacher:

• Offer guidance and support to students
• Create a positive atmosphere for children to learn a second language
• Follow lesson plans
• Monitor students’ progress
• Work with families and school staff

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience teaching or tutoring elementary students in an education setting
• Bilingual in French required
• Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and positive energy
• Ability to provide 3 professional references
