Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – EDUCATION
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, private, special education school from grades Kindergarten-12th grade. They pride themselves on helping their students achieve success by supporting each child’s learning style. This school is a 12-month program.
This position starts in September.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000 depending on experience
Days/Hours: M-F, 8:00a.m. to 2:30p.m.
Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant:
- File documents
- Greet and assist visitors
- Review files
- Organize breakfast and lunch
- Keep organized records
- Monitor student attendance
- Serve as Transportation Coordinator by communicating with bus companies, parents and ensuring safety
- Compiling fire drill logs and participating in fire drills
- Keeping daily records of student attendance, staff arrival, dismissal times and absences
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 1-3 years’ of experience working in an office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Academic setting experience a plus not a must
- Must be able to provide 3 business references
