TEACHER – EARLY CHILDHOOD – Astoria, Corona, Woodside, Upper Westside Manhattan
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a well-established organization that supports children by helping them thrive and grow. They are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher for children ages 2 – 4 years old. They are excited about the expansion of their program and moving into a new facility to enhance the learning and experience of children and their families. They are seeking enthusiastic, creative Early Childhood Teachers to join their faculty.
Salary - $28.16 - $41.41 per hour - depending on credentials, certifications and experience
$3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Days/Hours: M-F, 8am-4pm
Responsibilities for the Early Childhood Teacher:
· Provide a nurturing, responsive age-appropriate experience that enriches each child’s learning experience
- Implement children’s I.E.P. or I.F.S.P. into lesson plans
- Adhere to a curriculum defined by the National Education for Young Children and described by school.
- Conduct home visits and parent conferences as needed
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Conduct a daily health checklist
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Uncertified Teachers must have at least 60 college credits and currently enrolled towards their BA or MA. Must have 12 applicable credits toward EC Education.
- If you have an AA or BA and not pursuing an MA you must have a degree in EC Education and take steps towards obtaining your NYS or NYC Teaching Certification in grades B-2.
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with NYS certification strongly preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching early childhood education in a classroom setting
- Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide 3 professional references
