United Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated Driver Helpers to join our client’s fast-paced manufacturing and distribution team. This is for a large ice distribution company out of Boston, MA.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Helper is responsible for assisting drivers in all tasks related to the safe and efficient delivery of ice and related products to the customer.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 1st shift 5am-3pm with OT as needed, shift ends when route is over

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Driver in the safe, on-time delivery and sales of ice and related products including the merchandising of individual bags and full pallets.
• Accountable for applying safe work practices in all deliveries and operational practices.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Reviews paperwork daily for neatness and accuracy.
• Ensures cleanliness of delivery vehicle (interior and exterior).

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse and/or driver helper experience
• Familiarity with Food Safety Handling Procedures is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
