Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is representing a Class A Residential building in Midtown, Manhattan who is looking for an experience and customer service oriented Doorman/Concierge.
We are seeking a polished and customer-focused Class A Residential Doorman/Concierge to join our team in a luxury residential building in Midtown, Manhattan. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to ensure a welcoming, secure, and seamless experience for residents and guests.
Schedule: 4pm-12am shift, 5 days a week including weekends (OT available as needed)
Pay: $20-22/hr
This is a temporary to permanent position with the opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stand and greet all residents and guests warmly as they approach the front desk or lobby.
- Offer assistance with luggage or provide a luggage cart as needed.
- Maintain awareness of building activity by monitoring security cameras and staying alert.
- Answer phone calls professionally and forward them to management personnel when required.
- Log all activities accurately in the logbook or system, including package deliveries, tenant check-ins and departures, incidents, inquiries, and shift changes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk, lobby, and elevator areas.
- Adhere to professional attire standards (white shirt, black pants, and clean black shoes).
- Respond to minor resident concerns or escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Contact the superintendent in case of emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury residential or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills for logging activities and deliveries.
- Knowledge of security practices is a plus.
