Behavioral Health Director of Nursing - Contract to Hire
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Director of Nursing for a hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This person will lead and oversee nursing operations within the behavioral health department.
Pay: $87/hr with weekly
Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM (Must be flexible to work additional hours)
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Oversee and manage daily nursing operations in the behavioral health unit
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Monitor and improve patient safety, staff performance, and clinical procedures
- Provide leadership in crisis intervention and emergency response situations
- Ensure adherence to behavioral health protocols and best practices
Job Requirements
- TCar Certification (Required)
- Master’s in Nursing (Required)
- Contract to Hire (No overtime)
