United Staffing Solutions is representing a large, high-end electronics retail store that focuses on photography and videography equipment along with various other electronic products in Midtown Manhattan. We are looking for experienced Cashier Supervisors to join our team and help train, manage, and oversee the cashier team.

As a Cashier Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations at our store's checkout counters. You will oversee a team of cashiers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service and accurate transactions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Pay: $18/hr - raise dependent on performance after 90 day probationary period

Schedule: 5 days a week, Sundays required, Saturdays off.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train cashiers on proper checkout procedures, customer service standards, and company policies.
• Monitor cashier performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling, including cash counting, processing payments, and issuing refunds or exchanges.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is in working order.
• Collaborate with store management to implement strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

• Minimum 2 years of cashier and/or supervisor experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
