We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/PCT - Med Surg to join an amazing healthcare team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities in a variety of settings, including inpatient care at a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and home care environments.

Pay: $25/hr with weekly pay

Shift: Days

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic life support as needed and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Support nursing staff in medical procedures and documentation as required.
• Engage with patients to promote their emotional well-being and provide companionship.
• Assist in the mobility of patients, including transferring them safely between beds and wheelchairs.
• Participate in patient education by teaching basic health concepts under the guidance of nursing staff.

• CNA/PCT License
• Acute experience required
• Knowledge of basic life support techniques is essential.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Experience in inpatient settings or within a teaching hospital environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
