The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, home care environments, and memory care units.

Pay: $24/hr with weekly pay

Responsibilities needed for the CNA
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly those with dementia or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Help with mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or other equipment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills in home community care and long-term care practices.

- Strong understanding of dementia care principles and techniques.
- Active NYS CNA License
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with long-term care practices and patient service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Experience using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients.
