United Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL B Flatbed / Piggyback Driver for a busy lumber and building materials supplier. This position is responsible for delivering materials to customers and job sites throughout the five boroughs of New York City using a flatbed truck equipped with a piggyback (Moffett) forklift.

This role is ideal for a driver who is comfortable navigating city routes, safely operating a forklift for job site deliveries, and ensuring materials arrive accurately and on time.

Pay: $24-26/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:30am-4pm

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL B flatbed truck with piggyback (Moffett) forklift
• Deliver lumber and building materials to construction sites and customers throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC
• Load and unload materials using the mounted forklift (Hi-Lo)
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport
• Verify delivery tickets and ensure orders are accurate
• Communicate with dispatch and yard staff regarding delivery schedules and any delays
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and follow all DOT regulations
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations

• Valid CDL Class B license
• Flatbed driving experience required
• Piggyback / Moffett forklift experience required
• Experience operating a Hi-Lo (forklift)
• Ability to safely navigate and deliver within NYC’s 5 boroughs
• Strong attention to detail when verifying materials and delivery tickets
• Ability to lift and work in an outdoor environment when necessary
• Dependable with strong time management skills
