Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Valley Stream, NY 11580
Location: Valley Stream, NY 11580
Setting: School-Based
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $50/hour
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school-based program in Valley Stream, NY. The BCBA will work with students, educators, and support staff to develop and implement effective behavioral intervention plans that foster positive outcomes and promote student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide training, consultation, and ongoing support to teachers and paraprofessionals
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and student development
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Job Requirements
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services, preferably in a school setting
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
