Location: Bronx or Queens, NY (Preferred Borough)
Pay: $25–$31/hour

• Starts at $25/hour during a 90-day evaluation period
• Opportunity for pay increase based on performance after 90 days

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MA looking for a great work-life balance while providing exceptional patient care. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other clinic locations within their preferred borough when coverage is needed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits and procedures
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and coordinating referrals
• Administer injections, collect specimens, and perform other clinical duties within scope of practice
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Float to other clinic locations within the assigned borough as needed for coverage

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Current New York State Medical Assistant Certification
• Current CPR Certification
• Previous Medical Assistant experience required
• Must be willing to travel between clinic locations within the preferred borough (Bronx or Queens)
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
