Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English)
Location: Queens, NY
Pay: Starting at $25/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week
Position Type: Permanent
We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant fluent in Spanish and English to join a busy outpatient healthcare practice in Queens. Enjoy a permanent full-time position with a four-day work week and opportunities for growth based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits and procedures
- Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and maintain electronic medical records
- Administer injections, collect specimens, and perform clinical duties within scope of practice
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Float to other clinic locations within Queens as needed for coverage
Job Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Current New York State Medical Assistant Certification
- Current CPR certification
- Previous Medical Assistant experience required
- Must be willing to float within Queens when coverage is needed
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
