Residential Coordinator – $27/hr
United Staffing Solutions is hiring a Residential Coordinator to oversee and support an amazing Community Living Services team. This position plays a vital leadership role in maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and team development for staff supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Location: On-Site | Staten Island
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility based on program needs)
United Staffing Solutions is hiring a Residential Coordinator to oversee and support our Community Living Services team. This position plays a vital leadership role in maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and team development for staff supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Direct Care Counselors and Shift Supervisors (approx. 70 staff)
- Hire, evaluate, train, and provide feedback and discipline as needed
- Conduct staff orientations and ongoing training sessions
- Review schedules and ensure adequate staffing for appointments and daily operations
- Oversee payroll processing and monitor budget compliance for assigned residences
- Ensure completion of incident and accident reports, including investigations and follow-up
- Manage service recipient financial systems, documentation, and service plan outcomes
- Ensure facility safety through routine inspections, fire drills, and maintenance oversight
- Collaborate with clinical teams, nurses, and service coordinators in care planning
- Maintain program compliance with agency and regulatory standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred (or 10 years of relevant experience within the agency may substitute)
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of HCBS Waiver, IRA, ICF regulations, and quality management
- Strong organizational and Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, be on call, and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
