United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the health care staffing industry, is seeking Direct Care Workers for part time, per diem and on-call assignments to work in residential group homes throughout the five boroughs.

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Responsibilities for the Direct Care Worker

• Provide a normalized, therapeutic, and safe environment.
• Promotes the positive self-esteem of residents in a home atmosphere through consistent positive interactions, support, encouragement, and unconditional respect of individual resident rights.
• Assist with the daily routine of the residence which may include meal preparation, lifting, transferring, medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, transportation to medical appointments and behavioral interventions.

• Must have experience working with children or adults with developmental delays.
• Must have up to date physical and PPD or X-Ray.
• NYS Driver’s license required for some sites
• High School Diploma
