Residential Coordinator (Group Homes)
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay: $30/hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking an experienced Residential Coordinator to oversee operations and ensure compliance across group home programs in the Bronx. This role involves supervision, program coordination, and ensuring high-quality care for individuals receiving services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations (including OPWDD)
- Oversee program operations and coordinate interdisciplinary team services
- Supervise and support staff, including training in policies, procedures, and behavior management (SCIP)
- Coordinate services under Home and Community Based Services Waiver programs
- Provide managerial coverage during staff absences or vacancies
- Oversee documentation systems and individualized habilitation programs
- Support development of new residential facilities and administrative systems
- Conduct investigations related to staff and program participant concerns
- Serve as Treatment Coordinator as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred in Human Services or related field)
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a residential group home setting
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations required
- Must be qualified to perform QIDP duties
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make independent decisions
- Valid NYS or Tri-State driver’s license in good standing (minimum 1 year)
