United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a very successful electronics retailer located in Midtown West that is seeking an Admin Assistant to joing their team at their Corporate Office. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent with good attendance and performance.
We are seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented candidate with a strong work ethic.
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 9am-6pm & Fri 9am-2pm.
Pay: $17-20/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities for the Admin Assistant:
- Data entry using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Supporting the Managers with administrative tasks, calendar management, etc.
- Communicating with vendors and customers via phone and email for various reasons such as customer support, sales follow up, etc.
- Creating and maintaining reports
- At least 2 years' experience working in an administrative capacity
- Some experience working in a retail environment is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have experience with MS applications such as Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with using or entering data in Salesforce preferred
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
