Retail Store Manager - Cashier Manager - Electronics - Cameras
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales for our client, a large and popular electronics and video/photography store in Midtown Manhattan. We are seeking to fill this role ASAP. Position starts on a temporary basis and has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right fit.

Pay: $20-$22/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm & Sundays 10am-6pm. All Saturdays off! May be asked to work occasional half day Fridays until 2pm during busy seasons.

Responsibilities for the Retail Store Manager:

• Overseeing daily operations of the retail store
• Managing, coaching, and motivating a team of sales associates and cashiers
• Ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times
• Implementing sales strategies to achieve targets
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock replenishment
• Training and developing staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques
• Utilizing Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively
• Conducting shift management and scheduling
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for favorable pricing

• Proven experience in retail management
• Strong ability to lead, manage, and develop a team
• Knowledge of wireless sales is a plus, not a must
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, not a must
• Ability to effectively manage pricing strategies
• Experience in training development for staff growth
• Familiarity with stock management practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and outgoing personality
