Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal ICU Registered Nurses in Queens and Manhattan. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Pay: $90/hr with weekly pay
Duties of the Neonatal ICU Nurse:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and detect any changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions as needed
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Current RN license in New York
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an ICU or critical care unit
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
