United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking Residential Counselors in Rockland County, NY.

Pay: $17.40 - $17.50 per hour DOE

Responsibilities of the Residential Counselor:
- Provide direct support and care to residents with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Promote resident rights and independence
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed
- Implement and follow individualized care plans for each resident
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care

Experience needed for the Residential Counselor:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial
- Ability to drive residents to appointments or outings may be required
